For restaurants, cafés & caterers · South London
Websites for restaurants and cafés in south London
Critics review you, TikTok shares you, and then the customer who wants your menu or opening hours finds a delivery app instead. A page of your own fixes that.
Great reviews, nowhere to send people
Some of the best-rated restaurants in Peckham, Brixton and Deptford still have no website. Their name is searched every day — by people who read a review, saw a video or were told about them — and Google shows a delivery app, a review site or an old menu photo instead of anything the owner controls.
Every order through a delivery app costs a commission, and every visit to a review site shows your customer three alternatives. Your own page — menu, hours, how to book, how to order collection, catering enquiries — sends them straight to you.
Your name is searched every day. Make sure it leads to you.
Four things that cost independents covers
No menu online
People decide where to eat by reading a menu. A blurry photo on a review site is not one.
Wrong hours on Google
Nothing loses a regular faster than turning up to a closed door you said was open.
Commission on every order
Delivery apps are useful, but every regular who orders through them costs you a cut.
Catering enquiries lost in DMs
Office lunches and party orders arrive in Instagram messages and get missed.

Questions
I already use OpenTable or a booking system. Do I need a site?
Yes — keep the booking system and put it on your own page. Your site is what Google shows for your name; the booking system is just the button on it.
Can I take orders without paying commission?
Yes. Collection orders through your own site cost only card fees. Most places keep the delivery apps for delivery and move regulars to collection.
Do you write the menu descriptions?
If you want. I write in a plain, appetising way and you approve every word. Allergen information always comes from you.
How fast can it be live?
A one-page site with menu, hours and booking link is usually live within a week of getting your photos.
What does Google show for your name?
Send me your restaurant's name. I will tell you what a customer sees today when they search for you, and what would change it.
